a bit low

I'm feeling a bit down right now so I am going to keep this short.
Can you tell me why the world's most bubbly person (me) is so angry. I have been snapping at my husband and my best friend lately.
I feel it.
They also have mentioned it.
I think that I have gotten better with my best friend but that still leaves it for my husband. What is wrong with me!!!
Where is this edge coming from.
I am taking everything ultra personal. This is not a one time isolated incident, either. I have been snappish for over a month. I can't even chalk it up to a recent problematic situation, though this situation ended up maximizing my personal feeling of anger about ten times, so what is this?

Most importantly how do I get rid of it?

  1. Hang in there...I don't have a magic perscription because there isn't one. I, too, struggle with anger. A huge help is literally stopping to breathe, forcing myself to stop, close my eyes and breathe. I also have this new thing where I don't talk when irritated. I just force my mouth shut which kills me but it works. Maybe you need a good dose of alone time? Can you sneak away for a few hours by yourself and relax? You've kinda sorta had a LOT going on lately...stress can cause all of what you mentioned. Take care.

  2. It sounds very much like a mild bout of depression. Exercise is a good combatant for this, it certainly helps mine.

  4. i can get like this at times...it intermingles with feelings of melancholy (sp??). haven't quite put my finger on a way to shake it quickly. maybe you and your husband need some quiet alone time? perhaps you're not feeling as close to him as you would like to? maybe thats a part of it since you feel you've been able to chill it with you best friend.

Groovy has a good suggestion....moving more will help the funk lift quicker.

hope all gets better with you soon.

  5. Oh the joys of womanhood! I get the same way from time to time. The most interesting part is the fact that you are aware of your fuse shortness.. and still continue to be a "difficult person." (explitive deleted). Hang in there!

  6. Buenos Dias Amor,
Well this is a funny situation, seeming how I am the king of anger, it is like we have switched rolls.
Do not worry, You know me and the children love you very much.
    It will be just fine.

    Love Edgard.
