weigh in

first week 194.5

last week 188

today 187.5

pounds lost last week 0.5

total pounds lost 7.0

I hope that I can try harder and give you some spectacular results next week. I am going to add some physical exercise in. One step at a time. At this point I am feeling totally uninspired! Tonight I have a ladies night out with a group of stay at home moms and a pedicure with my best friend Susie. If that doesn't inspire me...nothing will!

  1. Ok Rachel...here is my latest update on the weight loss thing. I have lost another 10 lbs and 10 inches!!! That puts me at 163#. The most exciting thing is that I have lost 5 inches off my hips, 5 off my waist, 2 off each thigh and each calf (bad news is 4 inches off my chest!!!! :() I decided to add weights and ab workout in addition to my daily hour of walk/jog. Today was my first day with the weights and abs and I feel like I am going to puke. I am sure that it will get easlier. I will check in after the next 10 lbs. Keep up the good work.

  3. Rachel, as long as you are headed in a downward direction there's nothing wrong with what you're doing!

besides, it's proven that people who lose weight tend to keep it off longer.

So I say, kudos to you! You're doing great and you are very brave to blog about it!!!!

  4. Thanks. I really appreciate it. I know that slow is better but I may consume extra calories when I gnaw off my own arm from frustration.
In the meantime, your words of support really help!
