it's gonna be a bright sunshiny day

For the first time, in a long time, the clouds part to reveal the sun. Reflecting its rays on my uplifted face, I exult in its velvety warmth. It has been gone too long. Yet in the few moments of brightness, I have already forgotten the gloomy, rainy day, feeling. I can do anything. I don't know if there are cloudy days ahead, but today, it honestly doesn't matter. Tiny, beautiful, golden beams of hope, soaking into my starved self.
