In addition to keeping you highly entertained with my wit--and maybe a tiny smidgen of sarcasm--I also enjoy playing around with a little HTML, and other web design related stuff. I don't claim to be any great hand at it, or to have any non-pilfered technical knowledge---I pretty much just started experimenting with my blog template one day and when it was successful...I was hooked! If you have any questions or want me to create something, you just need to ask. I really love to do it and everything is a learning experience for me. sotsublehcar (at) gmail (dot) com And now on to the show and tell (what little there is so far). Not including the many incarnations of three day blog my first foray into designing aspects of someone else's site, was for Michelle over at brown eyed girl . I designed her header for her and had a lot of fun doing and since she also loves photography, I was able to use her own pictures for nearly the whole thing. I like the fact that it makes i...
I am a major coffee addict. But yeah... I've got my favorite mugs no matter where i am. I was tempted to take my fav mug from my parents' house the last time I was there, but I realized it's my mom's fav too!
ReplyDeleteI lived in Portland for a couple of months in 2002. I drank A LOT of coffee while there. A LOT. You folks in the pacific northwest know how to do it. (though Wellington, New Zealand has some of the best cups of coffee around!)
I have the Target selection of coffee mugs from a few years ago. I spend too much time each morning deciding what color to use. "Do I need yellow today? Or could I use brown? Purple?" I think I might be a tad crazier...
ReplyDeletethat mug is really cute. I don't drink much coffee, but I would totally buy one of those just to leave around the kitchen so people would think I was sleek and stylish like that mug is.
ReplyDeleteBetz: So what else did you like or dislike about Portland. I like it and visit there a lot. (I live about an 1 1/2 from there) I think that we do make good coffee here, as well, but I would love to personally try the coffee in Wellington, New Zealand and I have a feeling it would taste better there because I would be traveling. Coffee always tastes better when you are traveling. And if it is a great mug? Double whammy!
ReplyDeleteBy the way Jodi...you aren't so crazy... I used to have blue mugs but I switched to white (from blue) because it always makes me feel organized and happy.
Uhmm, cafe con leche, a very important part of my daily breakfeast. Yes is a very nice mug. I liked a lot your pictures in your Mexico City Album. Cheers from MC and thanks a lot for your visit.
ReplyDeleteCarraol: I check your blog every time that you update (via bloglines). I love your perspective of D.F.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work!!!
I totally agree, I think my drinks are better and I"m much happier with prettier cups and plates! It's very important to me too!!
ReplyDeleteoh, yes, Jodi does have fabulous mugs, I too enjoy picking what color mug I wanted when I stay there!
