Today is our eighth wedding anniversary. In honor of that, I would like to transcribe a card written by my husband that I received on our fifth anniversary. It is the collected and random thoughts of my husband written in every available space of the card. Amor: Today is a wonderful day. I have been counting the days, but without a doubt, it does not seem to be five years. Everything is as nice as before but with a lot more satisfaction and pride in our marriage. I am happy to have you by my side all the time. To know that you are a great mother keeps me calm and that every time I make a mistake, you talk to me and teach me something new. You are my angel (I love you). I don't know what it is, but to talk about our marriage is a great thing. It makes me feel a huge happiness (never ends). Anthony adds beauty to our relationship and it is because you are his mam á. (side note: I was pregnant with Irene at this time) I love to come back (from work) and see you after fi...

ReplyDeletearmoire, new bike, mats for my car, trees in my yeard.. etc
I wonder if the guys are inoculated at birth against all these hints?
ReplyDeleteOh how cute, what a fun shot.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up Rachel. Let me know if this hinting thing does any good. I may try it on this end. :)
I love your wit and sense of humor. Great picture!

I was going to say what Bradley said... ha ha.
ReplyDeleteMy husband enjoys reading the comments if he happens to be involved in the post!!
Hints are good. You are a nicer wife than me. I usually state as a matter of fact when I feel we need something! Then look at Scott like, "what are you going to do about that?". Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteYou never fail to make me giggle! Husbands don't do so well with hints, I've found. YOu have to spell things out, very specifically, sometimes with pictures and charades. Then they need reminders (lots of reminders!).
ReplyDeleteLove the list! Tell him you have countless readers who are aware of your unwavering rightness... :) (Then he might even comment on your brilliant blog!)
ReplyDeleteVer lovely picture ...the quality doesn't matter ..BUT you should get a new camera , tell him your readers are not happy ...Kidding
ReplyDeleteNice to know that I am not the only hinting wife...with husbands that are impervious to it.
