SPLAT!!!

So there I was fixing my dinner, after a stint on the treadmill. Anyone who has ever walked on treadmill knows, that after you get off, your equilibrium can tend to be a bit off. And sure enough...my equilibrium was a bit off.


This proves what I have always said. Nothing good comes from exercising.

    Bradley: Yep...I have to laugh or I would go nuts...I am such a klutz...then pair that with exercise and I become a hazard.

    Jodi: That is so funny. I didn't think someone would be able to identify that. But seriously I think the WW Baked Ziti is pretty good, considering it is a diet t.v. dinner.

As I did my nightly rounds----tucking everyone in, making sure everyone is warm, and outside doors are locked----I couldn't believe how big my children are now. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. How is that for making any sense? This is my baby---the little one. What happened??? She is already starting to lose the chubby-cheeked baby look And seriously...I gave birth to that? He is huge. I can't believe how quickly time can pass. Where have my babies gone? Don't misunderstand me...I am looking forward to every passing minute and getting to know the new stages, but I never saw too far past the diapers and (advance apologies to any guys that read this) breastfeeding. I am in unknown territory now. ...But I had absolutely nothing to do with this one.

eight years

Today is our eighth wedding anniversary. In honor of that, I would like to transcribe a card written by my husband that I received on our fifth anniversary. It is the collected and random thoughts of my husband written in every available space of the card. Amor: Today is a wonderful day. I have been counting the days, but without a doubt, it does not seem to be five years. Everything is as nice as before but with a lot more satisfaction and pride in our marriage. I am happy to have you by my side all the time. To know that you are a great mother keeps me calm and that every time I make a mistake, you talk to me and teach me something new.
