cafe con leche

I just have to say that I love my new-ish coffee cups. They are nice and thick and keep my coffee warm. I know that this seems a little odd to be writing, what amounts to, an ode to my coffee cup but I really think that coffee tastes better if it is in a nice mug. I know---I might be a little crazy.

  1. I am a major coffee addict. But yeah... I've got my favorite mugs no matter where i am. I was tempted to take my fav mug from my parents' house the last time I was there, but I realized it's my mom's fav too!

I lived in Portland for a couple of months in 2002. I drank A LOT of coffee while there. A LOT. You folks in the pacific northwest know how to do it. (though Wellington, New Zealand has some of the best cups of coffee around!)

  2. I have the Target selection of coffee mugs from a few years ago. I spend too much time each morning deciding what color to use. "Do I need yellow today? Or could I use brown? Purple?" I think I might be a tad crazier...

  3. that mug is really cute. I don't drink much coffee, but I would totally buy one of those just to leave around the kitchen so people would think I was sleek and stylish like that mug is.

  4. Betz: So what else did you like or dislike about Portland. I like it and visit there a lot. (I live about an 1 1/2 from there) I think that we do make good coffee here, as well, but I would love to personally try the coffee in Wellington, New Zealand and I have a feeling it would taste better there because I would be traveling. Coffee always tastes better when you are traveling. And if it is a great mug? Double whammy!

By the way Jodi...you aren't so crazy... I used to have blue mugs but I switched to white (from blue) because it always makes me feel organized and happy.
